This month we will be celebrating our new collection, Leopard Print! 🐆
Leopard Print has been a part of fashion since the 1920’s, where the roaring animal print was worn by movie stars, housewives and flappers! It continued to be popular throughout the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s where pin-up girls started to embrace the pattern with decorated corsets, dresses and fur coats.
During the 1960’s, the trend gained more momentum with the general public and become more mainstream. Ever since the 60’s, Leopard Print has been an ever-growing trend in fashion, textiles and interior design.
Leopard Print can be loud and colourful, or subtle and neutral. It can be used as a focal point for a room, or just a chic background. Adding colour into the print gives it a whole new feel which can be used to so many ways!
